Closing & Sentence
Ladies & Gentlemen of the jury...As you can see by the evidence presented; Steve Kerr has not only dismantled what was a fun, exciting, and competitive team but he replaced it with one that is slow, uninspired, and feared by no other team in the NBA. He traded away draft pics for cash, signed nobodies, allowed a prominent head coach to depart, and has shown no signs of doing what it takes to make the fans happy and bring back a title contender to Phoenix. He made watching the Lakers win their 15th Championship even more painful to watch because despite all the progress made by Brian Colangelo in the early 2000's the Suns are no closer to a championship than the Clippers or Timberwolves. I attribute this directly to Steve Kerr and Robert Sarver. And since Sarver is the owner and is immune to charges, Steve Kerr must be convicted on ALL CHARGES!!!
THE SENTENCE.......
We, the Suns Fans of Phoenix, Arizona within Maricopa County, call for the following sentence:
3. Steve Kerr, Current General Manager of the Phoenix Suns, be ordered to work the latrines in the upper 200 levels as part of 2000 hours of Planet Orange community service.
4. Finally, Steve Kerr, Current General Manager of the Phoenix Suns, be relieved of any memorabilia, clothing, etc. that portrays the Phoenix Suns' Logo. He should be dressed down in UofA gear & Spurs gear, and sent out of Phoenix on a rail. He never has been one of us, and after what he has done to this franchise he never will be one of us.
1. Steve Kerr, Current General Manager of the Phoenix Suns,
to be relieved of all duties immediately. Including, but not limited to
signing, trading for, or even speaking to any current players on the
Suns' roster or in the NBA while on the Suns' payroll.
2. Steve
Kerr, Current General Manager of the Phoenix Suns, be ordered to
reimburse the Suns 2 years of salary for failing to perform under his
contract and not fulfilling promises given to the Suns fans upon his hiring.
3. Steve Kerr, Current General Manager of the Phoenix Suns, be ordered to work the latrines in the upper 200 levels as part of 2000 hours of Planet Orange community service.
